"I knew there was a whole area of lighting that was very colorful", says Janna Ugone who combines art and lighting. As an artist most of her life, the idea of creating and selling whimsical but functional ceramic table and wall lamps was a natural. Jana and her employees do the entire process themselves, including creating, firing, glazing, wiring and shipping. Janna's lamps have a sculptural element and feel to them, while some have tiny holes in the shades in the shapes of constellations, allowing light to twinkle through. Each piece is signed by the artist assuring the quality she is known for.
